Before configuring a device, make sure that you set at least one shop in the Shops section.

Registering and Licensing a Device

This guide walks you through how to add a new device to the system, assign a license, and make a purchase if needed. The process covers entering the device code, naming your device, selecting a channel and shop, and then choosing or buying a license.

Step 1: Entering the Device Code on the Devices Tab

Go to the Devices tab, and type the six-digit code found on your device into the box at the top right.

Then, click the Register button.

Step 2: Naming Your Device and Picking a Channel/Shop

On the next screen, give your device a clear, descriptive name so you can identify it easily.

Next, pick the Shop and Channel from the options.

Double-check your selections, then save your device.

After registration, since you haven’t assigned a license yet, the system will warn you that content will stop displaying in seven days.

Step 3: Moving to License Management in the Subscription Tab

To assign a license, switch over to the Subscription tab.

Here, you can either pick an existing license to assign to the device, or choose to buy a new license.

Step 4: Opening the New License Purchase Screen

To buy a new license, click on the relevant New License option.

In this example, we’ll buy a one-year device license. The products you can buy need to be set up beforehand by your receiver.

Step 5: Picking Your License and Add-ons

From the list, select the one-year device license.

If you need any optional add-on or widget licenses, you can add them too.

On this screen, you’ll see the start and end dates for your license.

Step 6: Completing the Purchase and Licensing

After checking your selections, click the Purchase subscription button to finish buying the license.

Once your purchase is complete, your device will be licensed.

  • Label field is optional and for advanced uses. You can enter a new label, or select from the previous labels you created before. To get detailed information about device labels, visit Device Labels.
