Change your Brightsign Device’s resolution

  • First thing to do is to make sure that your device is connected to the same network that your Brightsign device is connected to.

  • Then go to the Omma panel and click the devices page on the left menu then select your Brightsign device.

  • Select the info tab on the above menu, then copy the Internal IP Address and Serial number of your device. Device’s serial number can be found at the bottom of the device too.

  • Open a new tab on your browser and paste the Internal IP Address. Add :8080 to the end of it (Example: 192.1.1.1:8080). Then go to the site.

  • Then a Sign in screen will appear as shown in the below image. Username is admin and the password will be your device’s serial number that we copied earlier.

  • After you sign in, the Brightsign Panel will open. Go to Video section.

  • With clicking the change video mode you will be able to see all the resolutions supported. Select your proper resolution and then click change mode button.

  • Then you need to confirm the action. This will reboot the Brightsign device. After the reboot your device’s resolution will be changed.
