Licenses that are in renewal period
Go to "Renewals".
Here you can see which licenses are in an active renewal period.
You can filter the licenses by account, contract or renewal action.
Renewal actions
Approving a Renewal
Click on the License that will be renewed.
You will see the process details under the license detail.
Choose the action as "Approve".
Select the Contract, Duration and Payment details for the renewed license. These options will be the same as current license by default.
Check the preview before submitting your action.
Approving a License Renewal creates a transaction (therefore expects a payment) upon closing the renewal period.
You can still override your action before the period closes.
Using a Stock License on Renewal
Important Note: Used stock licenses will be deducted from your stock instantly.
Choose the action as "Use Stock".
Select the license that you would like to use for the renewal.
Using stock for a renewal immediately closes the renewal period for such license.
This action does not create a transaction.
Using stock is irreversible.
Rejecting a Renewal
Choose the action as "Reject".
Rejected licenses will expire on their relative end dates, after the renewal period closes.
Devices that use such licenses should be removed or their licenses should be changed to an eligible one.
Devices with expired licenses will continue to display content, considering the safety of customer operation.
Splitting Licenses before Renewal
If you would like to take action for a fraction of the license, you should split it into two actionable licenses.
Choose the action as "Split".
Enter the remaining quantity. This number must be bigger than the actual usage.
Submit the action.
Splitted licenses can be accessed through renewals list.
Add-on licenses can't be splitted.
Overriding renewal actions
Actions (excluding stock usage) can be overridden.
You will be able to see the current status and action history.
You can't override an action taken by your parent account.
Cases you might not be able to take renewal actions
Renewal period might be closed.
Your account (or the license owner) might be suspended.
You may not have the permissions as a user.
Your parent might have taken an action.
Stock license could be used for the license.
You might not have an eligible contract.
You might not have an eligible stock license (for using stock).
