The integration feature in the Ommasign allows users to connect their Instagram and Microsoft/PowerBI accounts to their Ommasign account, enabling them to manage and display their social media contents and reports seamlessly. This documentation provides a step-by-step guide on how to integrate your accounts with Ommasign.
Step 1: Accessing the Integration Tab
Log in to your Ommasign website panel using your credentials.
Once logged in, locate and click on the "Integration" tab in the left sidebar. This tab is specifically designed for managing social media integrations.
Step 2: Adding Integration
After accessing the Integration tab, you will see a list of available integrations. (currently, Microsoft and Instagram integrations are available).
Locate the "+ New" button and click on it. This action will open the selections of integrations.
Step 3: Authorizing Instagram & Microsoft Access
After clicking the "Instagram" or "Microsoft" button, It will open a modal, click proceed.
After clicking 'Proceed' you will be redirected to the Instagram/Microsoft authorization page.
On the authorization page, you will be prompted to log in to your account if you are not already logged in.
Once logged in, Instagram/Microsoft will display a confirmation screen asking for your permission to allow the Ommasign website panel to access your Instagram account or PowerBI report data.
Review the permissions requested by the Ommasign website panel and click the "Allow" button to grant access.
Step 4: Completing the Integration
After granting access, Instagram/Microsoft will redirect you back to the Ommasign website panel.
You will be redirected to the related tab within the Ommasign website.
At this point, the integration process is complete, it will automatically create an integration datasource for your account.
Managing Integrated Accounts
Once you have successfully integrated your account, you can perform various actions to manage and utilize your Instagram content and Microsoft PowerBI report. Some of the possible actions include:
Displaying social media content on your digital signage displays
Managing multiple social media accounts and selecting which ones to display.
Customizing the appearance and layout of the Instagram content within the Ommasign platform.
